For Gal Nevo, every great solution begins long before the first line of strategy, with a deep understanding of the people it will serve.
As TailorMed’s Vice President of Strategic Growth, Manufacturer Solutions, Gal connects pharmaceutical manufacturers, healthcare providers, specialty pharmacies, and patients through a more integrated approach to the medication journey. That work spans everything from navigating access and affordability to initiating treatment and supporting long-term adherence.
With years of experience in life sciences, Gal was drawn to TailorMed by the chance to combine healthcare technology with business strategy while addressing one of the industry’s most persistent problems: helping patients get the therapies they need.
“What really excited me was the opportunity to go beyond patient engagement and make a real impact on the treatment journey, by removing the barriers that stand between patients and the medications and support they need,” she says.
What began with bringing new pharmaceutical manufacturers into the TailorMed network has evolved into building and scaling an entire business unit. Today, Gal leads the commercial team while setting the strategic direction for the broader pharmaceutical business, bringing together product, technology, data, operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure they are aligned around a shared vision, business priorities, and growth objectives. Her role extends well beyond commercial growth to shaping how the business operates, scales, and delivers value across the healthcare ecosystem.
Building a Business Around a Shared Mission
Gal describes the manufacturer solutions business as a new venture built on a proven foundation. TailorMed has spent years developing its platform and growing its network of healthcare partners. Her team’s job is to bring those capabilities together for manufacturers in new ways.
That takes more than a strong commercial team. It takes close collaboration across product, customer success, data, and other functions.
“We need the whole TailorMed ecosystem working together to influence manufacturer opportunities,” Gal explains. “It’s about understanding how we use data to guide decisions, measure success, and bring all the different pieces together.”
Her team is built the same way. Some members know TailorMed’s platform and healthcare partnerships inside and out, from how the network connects providers and pharmacies to where barriers show up across the medication journey. Others spent years inside the pharmaceutical industry and understand what manufacturers are weighing: brand goals, program performance, and the constant question of whether patients actually start and stay on therapy. That mix matters. It means every conversation has someone who knows what the platform can do and someone who knows what the manufacturer needs. And instead of walking in with a ready-made pitch, the team starts each opportunity by asking questions, listening closely, and building the answer from there.
“What’s really important is understanding the challenge first,” she says. “We want to identify the gaps manufacturers are trying to solve and determine how our technology and network can help.”
For Gal, a successful partnership creates value for everyone involved: manufacturers, providers, specialty pharmacies, and ultimately, the patients they serve.
Looking Beyond Affordability
Financial assistance remains critical, but Gal sees TailorMed’s role extending across the entire patient journey. That scope is what TailorMed means by the medication success platform: helping every patient who is prescribed a medication get it, afford it, and stay on it.
Manufacturers invest heavily in patient support programs, yet 59% of patients have little to no knowledge that support programs exist for them. Others struggle to enroll. Even after starting treatment, many run into barriers around coverage, education, or adherence.
TailorMed closes those gaps by connecting manufacturer programs with the providers, pharmacies, and patients who need them. Depending on the brand, that might mean simplifying enrollment or creating a personalized digital experience that guides patients through treatment.
“Every partnership is different, and every brand serves a different patient population,” Gal says. “Our job is to understand those needs and identify where we can make the greatest impact.”
That commitment continues long after launch. Gal and her team measure adoption, study what’s working, and refine the experience alongside manufacturer partners. Technology utilization is one measure of progress, but she believes the most important indicators are more personal.
“Ultimately, we want more patients starting therapy, starting sooner, and staying on therapy longer,” she says. “That’s how we begin to impact health outcomes.”
Preparing for the Next Chapter
Looking toward 2027, Gal sees TailorMed entering one of its most exciting periods of growth. That growth is built on a network that now spans 950+ hospitals, 4,700+ clinics, and 3,100+ pharmacies
“We’ve spent the last few years building the technology, establishing manufacturer relationships, and developing this incredible network of providers and pharmacies,” she says. “We’re at a point where all those pieces are coming together in a much more powerful way.”
Gal envisions technology serving as a digital front door to patient support, replacing phone calls, manual coordination, and disconnected systems. Getting there means continued investment in products, processes, data, and partnerships, with patients at the center of every decision.
“We’re moving from that zero-to-one phase into the one-to-100 phase,” she says. “It’s about building the foundations that allow us to grow while continuing to focus on what patients need.”
The Person Behind the Strategy
At home, Gal holds what she calls her most demanding role: mom to three young children. She jokes that it’s the best negotiation training she’s ever had, and the sessions never really end when the workday does.
Raised in Israel, Gal has called the U.S. home for many years and has explored more than 30 countries along the way. Each trip has fed a deep curiosity about how people live, think, and make decisions. She brings that same curiosity to her work, where understanding the people at the table matters just as much as understanding the business problem in front of them.
Whether she’s sitting down with a pharmaceutical partner or around the dinner table with her family, Gal is drawn to the same things: real connection, honest curiosity, and the chance to see the world through someone else’s eyes. At TailorMed, those instincts are helping build a healthcare industry that works together, so patients have support at every step of their treatment.
"We want more patients starting therapy, starting sooner, and staying on therapy longer."
